Welcome to PermaLit. By accessing our website, requesting an estimate, or using any of our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.

1. Use of Website

By using our website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when submitting forms

  • Not misuse any part of the site

  • Not engage in attempts to interfere with security or functionality

You must be at least 18 years old to request services.

2. Estimates & Quotes

  • All estimates provided by PermaLit—whether in-person, virtual, or through form submissions—are good for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Pricing may change based on updated measurements, access difficulties, additional materials needed, or unforeseen conditions discovered at installation.

  • Submitting a form or receiving a quote does not obligate you to book service, nor does it guarantee appointment availability.

3. Scheduling & Appointments

  • Install dates are scheduled based on availability, weather conditions, and project complexity.

  • Weather delays may occur, especially during winter months.

  • Customers must ensure that installation areas are accessible and safe (e.g., snow cleared, pets secured, gates unlocked).

  • PermaLit reserves the right to reschedule appointments if safety or access issues are present.

4. Permanent Lighting Installations

By hiring PermaLit, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All lighting systems are custom-cut and permanently installed on your property.

  • You will receive a walkthrough of your system and access to app controls upon completion.

  • PermaLit is not responsible for damage caused by:

    • Acts of nature (storms, wind, ice, hail, etc.)

    • Alterations made by the customer or third parties

    • Power surges or electrical issues unrelated to our installation

  • If your roof, siding, or structure is aged, brittle, or compromised, we cannot guarantee damage-free installation.

We take every precaution to install safely and cleanly.

5. Payments & Billing

Unless stated otherwise:

  • A deposit may be required to secure your installation date.

  • The remaining balance is due at the time of service completion.

  • We accept cash, check, card, or digital payment methods depending on location and agreement.

  • Unpaid balances may result in late fees, collections, or withheld service.

Commercial contracts may have different billing terms based on approval.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Customers may cancel or reschedule at no charge with 24+ hours notice.

  • Same-day cancellations may incur a cancellation fee due to lost labor and scheduling disruption.

  • Weather-related rescheduling does not incur any fees.

7. Warranties & Service Plans

PermaLit offers warranties based on product type and install method:

  • Manufacturer Warranty: Covers LED failures, defects, and controller issues as provided by the lighting manufacturer.

  • Installation Warranty: Covers craftsmanship issues (wiring, mounting, connections) for a specified period.

  • Damage Not Covered: Physical damage, misuse, tampering, or environmental factors.

Optional maintenance plans may include:

  • Annual inspections

  • Cleaning

  • Controller updates

  • Additional troubleshooting

Warranty details may vary by project and will be noted on your quote.

8. App Access & Technology

  • The PermaLit controller and app require a stable Wi-Fi connection or other communication method depending on your setup.

  • We are not responsible for issues caused by customer Wi-Fi, routers, network settings, or outages.

  • We help connect your system during installation, but ongoing network support is the customer’s responsibility.

9. Property Access & Safety

By scheduling installation, you allow our team safe access to:

  • Rooflines

  • Exterior electrical areas

  • Pathways, landscaping, and dock spaces (if applicable)

You agree to ensure:

  • Pets are secured

  • Work areas are free from hazards

  • Vehicles, equipment, or obstacles are moved as needed

We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe.

10. Liability

PermaLit is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Damage caused by weather, pests, or structural defects

  • Customer misuse or modifications after installation

  • Loss of use or downtime due to repairs or maintenance

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service in question.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, photos, graphics, logos, and videos—is the property of PermaLit. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without written permission.

12. Policy Changes

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website or services signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
